Plastic Memories 05 - The promise I wanted to keep
Last time we left Tsukasa and Isla in a race to find Marcia who has been kidnapped by a black market seller, Finally they have a lead and run into R.Security a business partner of the company that operates Terminal Service.
Whilst they have a lead they can only predict where Marcia might be, as the team prepare and head out to search Miciru explains to Tsukasa exactly what happened 3 years ago with her father and Kazuki.
I still feel that the creators have forgotten that these Giftias are meant to be androids, in this scene Kazuki is looking at Michiru's fathers eyes and they look realistically human even to the fact that you can look into his eyes and there is skin there.
They soon find Marcia and she has turned into a wanderer and kidnapped Souta who had followed, in a final stand off Tsukasa decides to use the special gun to destroy her program but Isla is also about to step in. What will happen ....
Plastic Memories 06 - Welcome home the both of us
At the final hour they manage to stop Marcia from strangling Souta but also Isla is damaged and needs to go into repairs for a few days, as Tsukasa is feeling the blame he stays with her everyday.
Now the story is flicking back to the romance side of things, this is something i think it does unwell is the management of romance and drama, in each episode we get one or the other but they are never entwined and creates and awkward atmosphere. I feel as good as the show is and as widely received as it was, it could have used a bit more work and they should have focused on one aspect.
I enjoy plastic memories and i would still rate it highly, but there are a few things to pick up on; the too realistic androids, disorganization of drama and romance, if bother of these were worked on i feel this would be a great show.
Ill still rate it 3 weird robot feet out of 5.
Till next week
