Hello again, today were reviewing episode 2 & 3. Enjoy !
Lets take a moment to listen to the intro, "Ring of Fortune" by Eri Sasaki.
It's a light hearted song with soft singing and light piano notes which represents Isla perfectly, she is our clumsy, shy female protagonist. And as she dances across the screen as the beat picks up i think this is a perfect opening it sets you up for happy fun times, and then you watch the show and it CRUSHES YOUR SOUL!!!!! well it makes you well up.
In today's episode they are building on the characters a bit more bringing out their personalities to make them stand out and give them more realness. the day starts off like any other normal day and another co-worker is introduced, Yasutaka Hanada a slacker with a fractured work ethic and a real ladies man... how I wish I could skip work ad get away with it. But he is soon put into place by his marksman Sherry who does not like to play his games and quickly drags him off.
But whats this ... why is there a golfing bag in the office, well yeah they may be into golf but i'm pretty sure there isn't any golf clubs in a city.
Anyway Tsukasa and Isla continue with their day and move onto their second target, a boy called Max who works at a garage. Isla quickly escalates the situation with her nervousness and comes across as if she is about to rob them, oh how cute she is. As their target runs away Isla's clumsyness kicks in as she trip but whats this.....
Error since when do robots bleed, I know they want Giftias to be realistic but this is a bit weird. It seems that they want to make the characters to seem realistic and relate-able but don't forget who your characters are.
As the episode progresses we learn that Isla doesn't plan on giving up yet as she is continuously training everyday and she has also started to develop feelings for Tsukasa... but she isn't the only one, it seems that Michiru also likes him. Do i sense a love triangle coming along.
The episode ends just as emotionally as the first, as they manage to retrieve their target. Ripping apart peoples memories seems like a hard job.
Our quest continues in spotting the golf clubs...
Errrrr i mean reviewing the show :P
I don't want to say too much here as the episode is pretty much all the same.
Today Tsukasa finds out that he has to start living with Isla but when they are in the dorm he finds that no matter what he does he just cant get her to talk to him but with the help of the men in the office by the end of the episode they begin to talk and their relationship moves up a grade.
Go check it out.
So far ill give this show 3 Mysterious golf bags out of 5!
See you next week
