Konnichiwa! readers,

We continue with Food Wars! Shokugeki no soma 12 - The Memory of a Dish   &

Food Wars! Shokugeki no soma 13- The Eggs Before Dawn

Check out the previous reviews to catch up on the show, be warned of spoilers in previous reviews.

Warning: It is definitely not a good idea to watch this show whilst hungry

12 The Memory of a Dish

Megumi manages to impress the judges with her Rainbow Terrine, which emphasizes the maturity of vegetables. However, when it comes down to voting, all three judges vote for Shinomiya's dish based on the difference between their skill.

Red and Orange and ... wait someone cant sing a rainbow

Just then, Dojima gives his own vote towards Megumi's dish, stating that Shinomiya has grown stale. This is revealed in flashbacks to be related to how his climb to fame involved making sure his dish was done to the book with no tolerance otherwise.

When Shinomiya tries Megumi's dish for himself, he comes to understand how her dish was geared towards the needs of those eating it and puts in a vote for Megumi. With Inui casting her own vote for Megumi, the Shokugeki ends in a tie, with Shinomiya revoking Megumi's expulsion. As Megumi returns back to her concerned friends, Soma laments his technical defeat.

Right in the Feels Megumi!

13 The Eggs Before Dawn

Before the students have a chance to sleep for the night, Dojima announces his next task, in which the students must prepare a buffet-style egg dish to be served at breakfast early next morning.

Awww its love!

With everyone spending the night trying to come up with a recipe, Soma decides on a soufflĂ© omelette, which is met with silent criticism from some of the other students.

Resting bitch face!

As breakfast comes the next day, it is revealed the judges will consist of the hotel's guests and staff, which students needing to hand out 200 servings of their dish in order to pass. While many of the students including Erina, Megumi, and Takumi all manage to impress with their dishes, Soma struggles to serve his dish to anyone.

Soma will be so jealous

I may need to start wearing a bib watching this

Things are much more fast paced lately and this is defiantly what this anime needs. Lets hope it doesn't slow down again.

So far its good id even push to say great, lets hope it doesn't get put on the back burner again. I feel like it needs more ingredients to the story but I'm sure things will heat up, I would rate Food Wars! 8 out of 10.

Until Next time.... Keep Kawaii ^-^
